Braid in my hair

Coloured her using promarkers, die cut with one of the grand nesties (second smallest size). Papers are digitial down loads, finished of with some pritty ribbon.
Debbi Moore Fairies
This image I printed as a single topper, to give it more dimenion I domed the image, using my hougie board I scored a line either side of the oval as a point to secure to the base card, placing 1 side down then curved topper, lastly securing other side to form the dome think it gave a good effect.
I used digital papers cutting them to an approx size to fit alined with the butterfly corners. Finished off with some blue dew drops and corner peel offs.
Some simple cards using Debbi moore cdrom

 Another topper (base image)
Using my MS daisy border punch, created border then set acitate so it leveled off with the back card. I used woodland friends papers, finished with corner peel offs
Cut out 2 leafs from the left over paper and set them on the acetate with diamond glaze glue.

My entry for Crafts and Me challange 93 Autumn colours.
(not a digi stamp from crafts and me but love the fairies in this cd)
Debbi Moore Christmas fairies

I ordered the christmas fairies from debbi moore after seeing the art work on create and craft.
I love the images and love the easy use of the cdrom.
With a selection I just printed the main part (base) of each design, printed on 210gsm card stock.
This one I choose the red tones, used red digi papers, wavey red ribbon/cord corner peel offs and red dew drops. Finished off base with a die cut mariane nestie.

Braid of my hair

I used:
A Day for the daisys digi stamp - Braid in my hair.
Memory box - Poppystamps Dies, Gentle Leaf.
Paper from woodland folk paper pack.
Roses from stash.
Yellow due drops.
Tim holtz ink pad - wild honey.
Xcut ornate frame dies.
Corner die (not sure brand)
Promarkers.
Digi stamp from A day for the daisies. I so love this design, it is one of the easiest ones I have bought to colour, I used promarkers to get the shades on her hair and dress, added some glitter to the birds (phone not picking up the detail well).
Hannah lynn digi stamp.

Hannah lynn digi stamp. Watere coloured with Tim Holtz inks. Papers from a dovecraft pack, not sure name of pack, Memory box Poppystamps dies Bubble Daisy Border cutting die from Oysters stamps. I made the flower myself with an old daisy punch layering about 5 layers then added little glitter glue in centre. Used brads to hold the daisy border in place, its almost impossible to glue this due to the thin design. Ribbon & lace from stash.

Crafts and me challenge 94 Anything goes

Here is my entry for this weeks crafts and me challenge. I have used the crafts and me digital stamp by Hannah Lynn, this can be found on there website so why dont you stop by and have a look. You wont be able to choose just 1.
I coloured her with promarkers, adding different levels of colour to her hair. Which I layered on scrap card punched borders along with my MS punch, I made a border with stick on gems from my stash, there not to great but come in handy for quick edging. I made the butterfly 2 years ago from peel offs. The flowers were hand made using a daisy punch, also punched the smaller leaf for bottom flower and die cut the leafs on the top larger flower. Gems and pearls from my stash.

For my vow renewal

New craft I seemed to be enjoying:

Silk carnations with lovely ribbon.

Wednesday 18 January 2012

Astrina - sweet red.

I coloured her with derwent pencils, then used the red on her clothing to add a bit of coloured border round the scallops, not sure if its worked well but I didnt have ink pads to match my colours. Paper is from DCWV blooms and butterfly paper pack, large gold peel off corners, then added a layered flower which has been sprackled up with some stickles glue, I then added a heart pin, but felt it was a bit empty looking so tied a bow round it just to add a bit to it, still not sure about it tho, then finished card off with some pearl flat backs round the swirl design.
Fragile Spring.

Melissa Dawns -Fragile Spring.

I am a bunny lover, any animal really but I have the pleasure of having 3 sweet little bunnys as pets so when I seen this I just HAD to get it. I coloured her in with my derwent pencils, using the papers from DCWV sweet blossom collection layered on pink card stock, finished it off with a simple pink bow and spray of crystals. I think my bunny buddies will love this card.

Green Astrina:

Nikki Burnett - Astrina.

Coloured in using Derwent * signiture pencils. Blended with Gamsol.

Papers from DCWV paper pack ( I think) green card stock. Corner have been accented with gold metal stampings then a pritty green heart pin and spray of crystals added above the image. Holding a pritty bow.

Friday 13 January 2012

Rosemary is coloured with whsmith regular pencils, very light and delicate colour. Other image (name slips my mind) coloured with my new derwant pencils blended then recoloured to give more bright sections.
These were coloured with a mix of mediums, the dragon fly one was promarkers, I am not to happy with her hair however

Love how these 2 turned out, rosemary was done with promarkers a bit bright but it seems to work well with the ribbon. The other image was done using pencils. I edged these ready to use on cards later.

Joanne Schempp's Fluff Dry.
Lovely stamp loving the amount of hiar, I used a yellow and an orange shade from the derwent collection. Then blended into the centre of each section. Her clothing is from same set of pencil, the tail was coloured using whsmith normal pencils, there is a difference in the quility of colour but the derwent pack I got has only 12 colours.

I used the paper from a collection sweets & cakes, the brand I am unsure really need to take a note for future blogging, I added some simple ribbon round the bottom and the top of the paper to give it more detail, finished off with little flat back pearls, I notice the bottom middle one is off centre that is sooo going to annoy me now.

Sweet Pea: Caron Vinson's Blushing Rose Fairy

She is coloured using Derwent signature pencils. Bordered with stickles

Papers from a pack I got in town but cant remember brand.

Some lace under the main paper, yellow velvet ribbon then ribbon flowers over this, embellished with flat back pearls. A simple heart pushed behind the image topper for a nice pretty finish.
