Simple but stylish

I used a sheet from an 8 x 8 card pack, its actually not christmas theme but thought it was perfect with the sparkle. The topper is from a kit, I think it needs something more but not desided what that is yet.

very simple card, 2 toppers from a kit and papers easy peasy

Red magnolia

Not quiet complete yet, still to do a base easil for this topper. I have coloured the image with promarkers, die cut it with the nellie dies, using 2 sizes layered this, added some white and burgandy pearls at points round the scallop then added contrast gems round the rest (runnig short of pearls), papers were from digital download kit, from crafty computer paper I think, then a lovely christmas ribbon added at the bottom (actually to hide a messy edge as my blade tore the paper instead of cutting it) tada

Blue easil:

I love how this has turned out, I choose a white base card, with blue/purple papers from a paper pack I bought in whsmith, forever friends topper from one of the sheets in a 24 piece set. layered on simpe spotty paper stock. The flower I used my fabric roses, with some florist tape to hold them tight so the leafs and pearl would stay put, then wrapped white ribbon round as tight as possible, finished off with a snowflake and some pearls.

Some fronts of past easil cards

New home card easil card

Simple quick card for sister inlaw, using puple papers and white card stock layered up the verse on a cut nestie. glued a few flowers to the edge. Finished off with pearl flat backs and a lovely dragonfly.

This card was very hard to do, cutting out the wolf perfect was nearly impossible but I got there in the end. I wanted it to seem like it was jumping out the celtic loop but couldnt quiet get it to sit that way. So layered it on top adding some moonlight blue paper behind it. I used my martha stewart deep border punch from http://www.craftsulove.co.uk/punches.htm on black light weight card stock,. then layered this on white base card, adding a little piece of ribbon and a heart charm to the corner to finish it off.

digital stamp from I am not actually sure memory is poor, this card was made earlier in the year just not been keeping up with my blogs.

I used some papers from cuddle buddy, printed with the very last of my ink. The image was coloured in with promarkers but very little colour added as to fine a detail not to make a mess as I am known to do often.

I used some lace from my local wool shop, then hid the cut edge with a pretty pink satin ribbon. The butterfly was a punch that I bought but hardly ever use, using some pink flat back pearsl I covered the body as they punch doesnt do a good job of cutting out that part.

I added her name with some simple silver peel offs on a mat and layered section.

All done and she LOVED it.

Magnolia cards using my new grand nestie dies, not as easy as I expected if you dont cut them on the same side/direction they dont line up when your layering them, so had a few misshaps doing the process.

Magnolia in blue:

I layered some digital papers onto card stock using my new nesties there HUGE. Using some blue stickles I edged the smallest nestie to give it a nice edge instead of adding another layer.

Red card: I used some simple digital printed papers, this one did have the miss hap with the layer I printed and cut it facing the wrong way so the middle layer didnt line up right, had to leave it out and just add some edge with a glitter pen. Not to happy with the end result tho, I added a deep red flower which I edged with glitter glue over a die cut shape. The snowflake has flat pack pearsl, however it is very hard to see in the photo.

Green tilda:
I like how this one turned out, I used my new nellie dies second largest layer, instead of layering it I edged it again with green stickles. I used some of my pink peticoat papers with some plain simple green light weight card stock latered. I have added some gems round the outer ring for some extra sparkle. LOVE THIS ONE

Green card

This one turned out really well, I layered the digi papers again, and the nellie diecut, instead of glue I used ink round the outer edge just to give it some depth. The little circle has been edged with ice green stickles and a lovely heart pin is set behind it so only the top shows.

Bronze Lady

This one I feel is by far the best looking out them all, even tho I made little mess trying to ink up the edge, the card stock was to smooth so the ink just went on in lines and wouldnt blend. So I took the attention away from the mistake using some lovely gold stickles. I then used some bonnie gold roses with leaves and a heart pin to add something more special.
